Honour. Remember. Reflect.
Each year on the 11th of November, Australians pause to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served and fallen in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. Remembrance Day marks the moment the guns fell silent on the Western Front in 1918, ending the First World War — a day that has since become a time for all Australians to reflect on the price of peace and freedom.
We invite our community to gather for the Remembrance Day Service on Tuesday 11th November, commencing at 10.30am at Anzac Memorial Park, beside the Redlands RSL Sub Branch HQ, 1–11 Passage Street, Cleveland. Together, we will observe the traditional minute’s silence, lay wreaths, and pay tribute to those who served, those who returned, and those who never came home.
Following the service, all are welcome to continue the spirit of camaraderie at the Redlands RSL.
Let us stand together as a community to remember, reflect, and give thanks.
Lest we forget.
