The Redlands RSL Golden Oldies was started over 10 years ago (approx. 2010) to provide a place for socially isolated veterans to meet each fortnight in a safe environment.
With over 50 attendees (not all of whom attend every fortnight), Golden Oldies is available to Redlands RSL members over the age of 80 (associated with either ex-service, war widow, or legacy).
It is held in the Gallipoli Room at Redlands RSL every fortnight on a Tuesday morning at 9.30am. A complimentary courtesy bus is available for those who reside within our approved area (approx. 15km from club).
Gatherings begin with a cuppa and biscuits, raffles are drawn at 10am, and is then usually followed by a guest speaker or entertainer. Another cuppa and sandwiches is then served after the guest speaker.
Our Golden Oldies morning are held at no cost to the member. Costs are covered by the Redlands Sub Branch.
