RAAF ASSOCIATION – REDLANDS BRANCH
The Redlands Branch of the Royal Australian Air Force Association (or RAAFA) was established in 2007 to provide wellbeing and camaraderie for members while supporting the Australian Air Force Cadets. Branch general meetings are held at 10.30am in Redlands RSL Club on the 2nd Sunday of every even numbered month, beginning with the AGM in February.
The Branch social, commemorative and wellbeing functions throughout each year include:
- Restaurant Dinners – every second month
- Visits to other Branches
- Local BBQs
- Informal wellbeing meetings – Wednesdays 3pm at the RSL Club
- Lunch in Redlands RSL Club after general meetings
- Wellbeing Bus Trips organised by Redlands RSL Sub Branch
- Fundraising Raffles with Redlands RSL Club
- Attend ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day and Vietnam Veterans Day commemorations, Reserve Forces Day March in Brisbane, Bomber Command Commemorative Service at RAAF Amberley, Associations Day at Amberley and RAAF Birthday Commemorations in Brisbane each year.
- Supporting the QLD State Division
Membership is open to a wide range of current and ex-serving members of Australian, allied Air Forces, Defence Force Cadets over 18 years and persons who are spouses, parents, siblings, sons or daughters over 18 years, of the above.
